Top 5 Bars in Lisbon

3 Jun
Joana-12

You’ve just arrived with your friends in Lisbon. You want to experience the local night life but have no idea where to go… No probs! Joana, our super Host Team Leader, is actually from Lisbon and has the perfect spots for a great night out.

1. Indie Rock Café

This bar has a consistently good soundtrack of Indie, rock from the past three decades. Like most bars in Barrio Alto, it’s small and the party spills onto the street. Try the Kalashnikov (and beer at 1 Euro). Unfortunately, they don’t have a website nor a Facebook page. Local and fun guaranteed.

Travessa dos Inglesinhos, 49

Lisbon, Portugal

2. Pavilhão Chines

The old-fashioned place is worth the trek. Enjoy a nice cocktail while getting inspired by all sorts of kitsch object such as replicas of Buddha or Popeye.  It is almost impossible to have a good look at every piece during one visit.

Rua Dom Pedro V 89

Lisbon, Portugal

3. Lounge

The music ranges from breakdance 80`s beats, house, electro pop and Indie - Rock to, well just about anything electronic. It is always a gamble and always good.

Rua da Moeda, 1 – Porta O/P

Lisbon, Portugal

4. Sol e Pesca

An old angling shop is now the new thing in Cais do Sodré. The décor is as authentic as possible. Try some cod, sardine roe or tuna along with a very tasting bottle of red, white and sparkling wine. The music ranges from Pop Rock to Fado.

Rua Nova do Carvalho, 44

5. MUV

MUV stands out in from all the Bars in Lisbon for its unique ambiance not only in music but also in food and decor! It has that vintage feel without overdoing it. One word, Cool!

Rua da Moeda, No 1, F/G

1200-245
